What is Muscle Contracture

The muscle contracture tension is related to permanent tissue such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and skin. Muscle tension prevents movement of one or more body parts associated with contracture. When symptoms begin to appear muscular contracture, we must be vigilant, since it can cause permanent deformities.

Treatment for Contractures

Contractures due to persistent involuntary contraction of a muscle or group of muscles of the body. They can occur in any muscle in the body but most commonly in the neck, back and shoulders.

The causes of a contracture can be by fatigue after excessive muscle strain, or due to other factors such as stress, distress or anxiety that can lead to an emotional state of tension which allows the muscles to relax . It is also common due to poor posture coupled with the lack of physical exercise.
