Treatment of Hip Fractures
The Hip and Acetabular fractures are relatively common injuries in pedestrians injured persons and are run over, trauma patients with pelvic injuries in older people with seemingly minor falls and osteoporosis due to advanced age, have this type of hip fracture.
The set of bones that make up the hip called the acetabulum and are known as the ilium, ischium and pubis, and that through the femoral head articulates to give movement to the leg. The pelvic ring or acetabulum, is a strong bone structure that protects important internal organs, circulatory vessels, nerves, rectum, bladder, urethra, posterior, uterus and vagina in women.
When there is a fracture of this type is of great importance to careful review for injuries from the blow or by fragments of bone for fracture repair and to prevent bleeding that can be very serious.
