Conjunctivitis
a lot has happened to us that one day we wake up and still in bed, we realize we cannot open one eye because the lid has been glued. Others do not go that far and just left with a red eye. When this happening is is very likely that we are suffering from conjunctivitis.
Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the outer eye and inner eyelid. Conjunctivitis is usually caused by three factors:
* Virus
* Bacteria
* Allergies
However, it may be due to other causes such as exposure to chemicals, burns, external agents, prolonged use of contact lenses, toxins or lack of vitamins and others.
As we have said that the main causes of conjunctivitis are viruses, bacteria and allergies, we will delve a little deeper into these three.
* Viral Conjunctivitis: This type of conjunctivitis is spread by contact with infectious virus. These viruses are not more dangerous than the common cold virus.
* Conjunctivitis Bacterial conjunctivitis is caused by a bacterial infection caused by bacteria in our own skin or respiratory tract flora. Among women, it is common to share conjunctivitis contagious facial creams or eye makeup. In general, be in contact with someone with conjunctivitis may cause it to spread.
* Allergic conjunctivitis: this type of conjunctivitis is a seasonal pattern and occurs in people with allergies. Unlike other types of conjunctivitis, allergic conjunctivitis usually occurs in both eyes and is accompanied by swollen eyelids. This conjunctivitis usually occurs by allergic reactions to substances such as perfumes, cosmetic contact lenses and other products.
